Free/libre software is free in monetary price, but the cost of usage is sacrifice. Some vertical apps are unavailable, alternate or equivalent apps often lack usability and important features, and there are many work-arounds required for users to obtain a workable system. The final cost for many users is inconvenience and loss of productivity.
