Living Without Computers
Recently I enjoyed a short vacation. I purposely did not take my laptop with me. I do not use a smart phone. The only pieces of computer technology I had with me were a flip cell phone and an e-book reader. I disabled the wireless connectivity on the e-book reader long ago.
No computer maintenance, no related RSS feeds.
Without computers I found those few days refreshing. By the end of the vacation I had almost forgotten that my life includes computers. Forgotten sufficiently that I struggled to get back into the groove of using computers after returning from the vacation.
I am encouraged that my life was just fine without computers.
