The Year of the Linux Desktop
An interesting opinion why Linux fails on the desktop.
While at work the migration away from Windows was successful, albeit with bumps, the use case at work is limited in scope and need and does not cover a significant portion of the typical home user territory.
While Linux is being used successfully at work, I agree with the author’s summary.
